I am a Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist. My foci are falls and delirium prevention, early detection & management.

I am flexible am extremely willing to precept someone to my field of nursing.

I provide inpatient advanced nursing specialty consultation services for patients experiencing hyperglycemia and/or with complex diabetes. I work in collaboration with medical staff to conduct advanced nursing assessments, recommend and interpret diagnostic procedures and implement specialty care plans.

I am currently working with the Program for Diabetes Health. My main location I serve is at Memorial Regional Medical Center but have privileges at St Francis and St Mary's Hospitals. We run the inpatient diabetes management services and are asked to see and manage patients in all units of the hospital.

Medical-surgical ICU (MICU) Coronary care unit (CCU) Cath Lab

This preceptorship is for new graduate nurses and nurses who are new to ICU/critical care/Cath Lab.

Correctional Nursing and advanced leadership skills

Level one Trauma center 18 bay adult pacu plus 7 bay peds pacu averaging 85 patients per day.
